The JSOT, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2023, has contributed greatly to the development of toxicological sciences, together with the Society of Toxicology (SOT) and the European Society of Toxicology.

 

In particular, in 1994, in cooperation with the Korean Society of Toxicology (KSOT), the JSOT established the Asian Society of Toxicology (ASIATOX) which includes the Chinese Society of Toxicology, the Thai Society of Toxicology, and the Toxicology Society of Taiwan.

 

Currently, JSOT is bringing together eight organizations and aggressively pursuing activities as a leader in Asia.

 

The theme of this annual meeting is "Diversity in Toxicological Sciences for Sustainable Environments and Human Health" We aim to provide an international annual meeting where domestic toxicological research scientists can meet with toxicological research scientists from SOT and ASIATOX, and where the latest information in the toxicological sciences can be collected and opinions can be actively exchanged.
